Andhra Pradesh records 10.7% growth in Q2 2025-26 despite El NiñoAndhra Pradesh recorded 10.7 per cent economic growth in the second quarter of 2025-26 despite the impact of El Niño. Agriculture led with 13.5 per cent growth, followed by industry and services, as Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu reviewed economic performance. Naidu directed officials to formulate comprehensive plans to achieve the state’s 15 per cent growth target despite the El Niño crisis and called for effective technology integration across government departments to improve performance. He also directed officials to ensure that the common man did not face any additional price burden and suggested forming a committee to examine the issue. The CM called for contingency planning covering water availability, agricultural value addition and other critical areas and directed officials to ensure exports to international markets were not adversely affected.
