Elvira, Iowa - Joyce Ann Camp, 92, of Elvira, Iowa, and Elberta, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in Greenville, South Carolina, surrounded by the love of her family. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, at Elvira Zion Lutheran Church in Elvira, Iowa, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Elvira Cemetery, where Joyce will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband of sixty-six years, Victor. Memorials may be directed to the Elvira Zion Lutheran Church Pantry. She is lovingly remembered by her four children, David (Martha) Camp of Greenville, South Carolina; Scott Camp of Okinawa, Japan; Laura (James) Van Pietersom of Green Bay, Wisconsin; and Victoria (Douglas) Langfeldt of Summerdale, Alabama. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; her son, Brian Camp; her parents, Milton and Lucella Schmidt; her brothers, Wallace and Grant Schmidt; and her sister, Lucella Jargo.
