The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife is inviting hunters to weigh in on potential rule changes for the 2027 through 2029 hunting seasons. WDFW noted the three virtual public meetings from 6-8 p.m. via Zoom:Fish and Wildfflie said the meetings are informational, with staff answering questions about roughly 60 possible rule changes now under consideration. “We wanted to take this opportunity to thoroughly discuss details about the hunting rule changes we are considering with members of the public,” said Anis Aoude, WDFW game division manager. “After reviewing over 1,000 comments in an earlier public comment opportunity, WDFW has narrowed it down to about 60 proposals we are considering for this three-year season setting. The Department said final hunting rule proposals are expected to be released later this year.
