Miles, Iowa - Brenda L. Hackett, age 73, of Miles, Iowa, passed away Tuesday Aug. 4, 2026, at her home. Brenda was born on Oct. 10, 1952 in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Donald and Marjorie (Cram) Meyer. Brenda had a warm heart and a natural gift for sharing. Her strong work ethic was matched by her love for the outdoors, where she found true joy caring for her horses and dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald, her sister-in-law, and two nieces.
