HeyDay Entertainment announced in a press release Monday it will close its Norman location following an agreement to sell the property to the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority. An interchange for the Toby Keith Expressway, a nearly 30 mile portion of the ACCESS Oklahoma turnpike plan, is slated for the area. Mooney’s Pub and Grill, which is across I-35 from HeyDay, was forced to close in July due to turnpike construction. Hey Pickle Pickle, the entertainment franchise’s pickleball operation adjacent to HeyDay, is not included in the sale, according to the release. “I would also like to thank the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority,” Bates wrote.
