-David Crowder, WRGA News-The Rome City Commission has approved equipment purchases for the new reverse osmosis water treatment facility. “These are the anaerobic membranes, which will basically clean up the water before it hits our reverse osmosis facility. We did a secondary pilot, which we learned from the EPD, through our attorney, that they are requiring all systems to do a secondary pilot. Also Monday, the Rome City Commission approved a contract for the Enterprise Corner Water Extension. The water line extension was one of the projects included in the 2023 special purpose, local option sales tax package.
