Institutions fail to change policies that led to sexual abuse. Personal experience, coupled with years of advocating for victims of sexual abuse, led to the creation of the petition. And Lukman wrote in the Toronto Star about her own personal experience of sexual abuse at The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in Toronto when she was 15.
