Normally somewhat modest in its marketing and claims, Remedy has suddenly started talking a big game with Control Resonant, as it nears a PS5 release in a packed September month. The developer has confirmed the follow-up has amassed 1.5 million wishlists across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and it's now positioning it as a "must-have day one purchase" despite the competition surrounding it. Control Resonant will come out on the same day as Silent Hill: Townfall, a day before FC 27, and shortly after Marvel's Wolverine. "Control Resonant will be available across all major platforms from day one and is priced attractively for an AAA title. Remedy is confident it has something good in Control Resonant, and based on three hours of play at a recent preview event, it has reason to be.
