Original article, August 7, 2026 (11:13 aM ET): We’ve been seeing a lot of Googlebook leaks lately, ahead of the first models hitting store shelves later this year. Digital Citizen also shared a ton of images that, at a glance, seem to show ASUS’s upcoming Googlebook from nearly every angle. Details like status bar icons and characters on the laptop’s keyboard are squiggly nonsense; even the ASUS and Googlebook badging show heavy artifacting. There are 14 images total in what Digital Citizen calls “a complete press render set for the ASUS Googlebook.” So the images above may be based on press renders of the ASUS Googlebook, but they’re not quite legit.
