Groups rally for implementation of Indigo Alert following death of autistic Calgary boy

Indigo Alert Canada is looking to implement a new alert for when a vulnerable person goes missing through a rally this fall.
The rally would take place at the Saskatchewan Legislative Building on September 12.
The 11-year-old autistic boy walked away from his care home in Calgary, mid-July.
Abby Firlotte, a Saskatchewan Indigo Alert Representative, says one reason the rally was chosen to be done in September because politicians will be back in the legislative.
“This is for those who can’t speak for themselves.
