The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) says in spite of the delays arising from litigations, the party was able to field candidates for over 90 per cent of all elective positions in the 2027 general elections nationwide. Our correspondent recalls that the closed door meeting, which held at the Rockview Hotel in Apapa, Lagos, was attended by NNPP NWC members from across the country. The NNPP founder said that fielding candidates across all positions did not rule out strategic alliance with political parties that have like minds and ideologies like the NNPP in 2027. In the following weeks, Nigerians will begin to see and meet our candidates in their various states. “NNPP members have a lot of decisions to make on some issues that we do not want to be deliberated upon by the NWC alone.
