Hyderabad:Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TG RERA) has slapped a ₹6.78 lakh penalty on Adhuri Infra for accepting 25% of the total sale consideration from a homebuyer without first executing and registering a mandatory Agreement for Sale.
According to the latest penalty order dated August 6, 2026, TG RERA concluded that the promoter's action amounted to a clear violation of Section 13 of the RERA Act.
TG RERA said the requirement under Section 13 was not merely a procedural formality but a statutory safeguard intended to protect homebuyers from uncertainty and arbitrary practices.
Adhuri Infra gets 30 days to pay penaltyTG RERA has directed Adhuri Infra Pvt Ltd to remit the ₹6,77,966 penalty to the TG RERA Fund within 30 days from the date of receipt of the order.
The order was passed by TG RERA members Laxmi Narayana Jannu and K. Srinivasa Rao.
