Rural voters showed what they think of their new far left Governor Abigail Spanberger when she appeared on stage at the 90th annual Old Fiddlers Convention, the largest even of its kind in America. When Spanberger appeared on stage, there was a very loud chorus of boos and many in the crowd turned their backs to her in a sign of disrespect. Spanberger campaigned for office claiming she would be a "common sense moderate", but immediately after taking office has adopted a wide range of far left positions. Spanberger is probably unelectable to any office again in Virginia, but that is not her goal. She is term limited to one term as governor so she has set her sights on running for president, and is thus going hard left to appeal to the national Democrat base.
