Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on measures to ensure stable operations in the oil and gas market and maintain reliable supplies of natural gas and petroleum products to households and businesses. The presentation covered oil and gas production, imports, processing, storage and deliveries to consumers. The measures come as Uzbekistan faces growing demand for natural gas and petroleum products, driven by expanding industrial capacity and rising household consumption. Uzbekneftegaz was tasked with meeting its oil and gas production targets and increasing liquefied gas output to 606,000 tons by the end of 2026, up from the previously planned 520,000 tons. The president also ordered officials to conduct daily assessments of domestic demand, identify potential supply risks in advance and take corrective measures promptly.
