The Curious Kids Museum in St. Joseph will begin renovations to its new home at 601 Main Street in the next three weeks, paving the way for its reopening at the location next year. “Most of the construction is interior, but a lot has to be done to intentionally create a children’s museum,” Marciniak said. “We’re very excited about that aspect to be able to, from the start, create our vision of a children’s museum with our 37 years of experience being a children’s museum.” Marciniak says another addition is aimed at preparing the Curious Kids Museum for the future at its new location. She says the level of community support the Curious Kids Museum has gotten throughout this process has been heartwarming.
