Somerset - Carl Mansfield Gaunce, age 84, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at his home. Carl was born September 4, 1941 to the late Julian Gaunce and Ruth Fletcher Gaunce in Paris, Kentucky,He enjoyed boating, motorcycle riding, and spent a lot of his retirement years in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Along with his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his sisters Charlene McKenna and Phylis Ann Gaunce. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Doris Jean Gaunce, sons: Kevin Gaunce (Amy) of Monticello, Ky and Tim Gaunce (Melissa) of Somerset; grandchildren: Jennifer Gaunce, Ryan Gaunce, Leah Gaunce, Tyler Shook, and Nickolas Shook, great-grandchildren: Paislee, Konner, Korbin Clark.
