Eagle Lake, Minnesota - James Lee Morris, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, at the age of 65 in Eagle Lake, Minnesota. James spent his early years in Mankato before moving to Waseca where he worked a factory job, and later to Elysian. For the past five years, he called Eagle Lake his home. He is survived by his father, Victor Morris of Mankato; siblings, Clark Morris of Mankato, John Morris of Mankato, and Rebecca Morris of Winnebago; niece and nephews, Jordyn Morris, Ryan Morris, Jonathan Breunder, and Kyle Morris; several great neices and nephews; uncle, Charles Slaymaker; and cousins, Dawn, Colleen, and Heather; He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary; brother, Michael Morris; and infant sister. James Lee Morris will be deeply missed, yet his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
