Misty L. Barnes, 53, of Witt, IL, passed away on Thursday, August 06, 2026 at her residence. Misty Lynn Householder was born on September 27, 1972, in Granite City, Illinois, one of six children born to Nathan G. Householder Sr. and Linda Darlene (Daubach) Davis. Above all else, Misty was a devoted and loving mother. Strong-willed and outspoken, Misty found her greatest happiness at home, where she enjoyed cooking, watching movies, and spending quality time with her family. Misty will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family, and as a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt whose presence will be deeply missed.
