We will have another very hot and humid day today. We will see mostly sunny skies today with a high of 93 and heat index values as high as 103. Meanwhile, more heat and humidity is on the way for Wednesday, but we could also see some severe storms in the afternoon and evening. The National Weather Service in St. Louis says there is a threat for strong to severe thunderstorms Wednesday, primarily in Illinois. Damaging winds and a few tornadoes are the main hazards, however thunderstorm development will depend on earlier storms.
