A new bike park has opened in Ladysmith, marking another milestone in the town’s Lot 108 Phase 2 implementation plan.
“The bike park adds another unique recreation opportunity for Ladysmith and reflects our commitment to creating public spaces that encourage healthy, active lifestyles.”
A ribbon-cutting ceremony last week marked the opening of the park on Jim Cram Drive next to Forrest Field.
The Town of Ladysmith said the park is designed for mountain bike and BMX riders of all skill levels.
The Lot 108 Phase 2 implementation plan also includes recently opened pickleball courts, outdoor fitness equipment and a perimeter trail.
