KEARNEY — The City of Kearney Public Works Department, on behalf of the Union Pacific Railroad, announces that the 5th Avenue Railroad Crossing will be closed to traffic on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026 beginning at 9:00 AM for scheduled maintenance. The work is expected to be completed by the end of the day. Citizens will need to use an alternate route during the closure.
