Monday will bring mostly sunny weather to Bulgaria at first, followed by increasing atmospheric instability, thunderstorms and a risk of hail in parts of the country. Winds will generally be light, becoming moderate from the east-northeast in Eastern Bulgaria and along the Danube Plain. Southwestern and Central Southern Bulgaria will face the greatest risk of deteriorating weather. Short-lived rain and thunderstorms are expected, with conditions favorable for hail in some areas. Despite the changing weather, temperatures in the mountains will remain relatively pleasant.
