Baker Boy was one of the biggest winners at the 2026 National Indigenous Music Awards, taking home three major honors during the ceremony at Darwin Amphitheatre on Saturday. His track THICK SKIN, featuring Thelma Plum, Emma Donovan, Kee’ahn and Jada Weazel, earned both Song of the Year and Film Clip of the Year. The Yolŋu rapper also performed THICK SKIN during the event, with Emma Donovan joining him onstage as a guest. Marlene Cummins and Saltwater Band were inducted into the Hall of Fame, with Saltwater Band closing the event with a live performance. For Baker Boy, the three wins add another chapter to his history with the National Indigenous Music Awards, where he has received multiple honors throughout his career.
