One person is dead following a workplace accident in Grant County. Friday morning the Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a construction accident on Cty Q in Castle Rock Township. A construction crew was at a property to repair a roof on a farm building when a member of the crew fell through the roof, approximately 30 feet, and landed on the concrete floor below. Immediate medical aid was rendered by the co-workers and further life saving measures were provided once Highland EMS and State Patrol arrived on scene. As a result of the injures sustained in the fall, the 44-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Grant County Coroners Office.
