A producer has filed a lawsuit alleging that Kanye West used unpaid and uncredited AI vocal work on Vultures 2 and Bully. Court allegations state that the producer created at least 13 custom AI voice models, generated more than 400 individual vocal recordings, and used his own voice as source material. The producer also claims he began additional AI vocal programming for Bully in October 2024. According to the filing, neither West nor his YZY label paid him for the work or listed him in the production credits on streaming platforms. West previously said Bully did not use AI, though he has openly discussed using the technology during songwriting and recording.
