Two Kingston students are bringing a sweet fundraiser to the Bath Farmers Market later this month. Cake Picnic Kingston will take place Sunday, August 23, as a student-run community event supporting Pawsitive Impact, a local charity that provides low-cost spay and neuter services for low-income and unhoused families and their pets. Bakers of all ages and skill levels are invited to purchase a ticket, bring a cake and spend the afternoon sampling creations from other participants. The fundraiser is being organized by 13-year-old co-presidents Gwen Holmberg and Amelia Vanderhaar, who hope to raise money while creating a fun community event. Tickets can be purchased through Cake Picnic Kingston’s Instagram account, the Pawsitive Impact website or by contacting organizers directly at cakepicnickingston2026@gmail.com.
