Yankton’s Sam Gokie and Beck Ryken are two of fifteen players selected for this year’s Legion Baseball South Dakota Class A All-State team. Ryken maintained a 7-1 record on the bump for the Legion season, finishing with a 1.02 ERA and 46 strikeouts. The Lancers are coming off a GPAC Tournament appearance in 2025, finishing the year 12-16 overall, 5-11 in GPAC play. The Lancers open their 2026 campaign on Friday, competing in the Tiger Kickoff Invitational in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Wynot finished their season with a 12-10 overall record, finishing the season 9-2 over their last 11 games.
