Greater Napanee area families can get ready for a day of fun at the annual Tamarack Teddy Bear Party on August 15. The event, presented by Tamarack Homes and hosted by BGC South East, runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the BGC West End Community Centre in Frontenac Mall at 1300 Bath Road in Kingston. Children can also bring their teddy bears to the popular Dr. Goodbear Clinic for a special check-up. New this year is a Teddy Bear Cycling Course for children ages three to eight. Proceeds support BGC South East mentoring programs serving local youth.
