Paulo Bernardo has revealed that former Celtic teammate Luis Palma played a key role in convincing him to make the move to Poland. The Portuguese midfielder has joined Górnik Zabrze on loan from Celtic, with the Polish side holding an option to make the move permanent. Bernardo arrived at Parkhead in 2023 on loan from Benfica before Celtic made his move permanent the following summer. The move could provide him with the regular football he needs to get his career back on track. There remains the possibility of it becoming a permanent departure from Celtic if the Polish club decide to activate their purchase option.
