Barrackville, WV - Warder "Woody" Ansley Shaver, 85, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Woody was the youngest son of the late Herb and Rose Shaver of Monumental. Woody was a proud grandfather to ten grandchildren: Daniel, Emma, Jacob, John, Nate, and Savanna Shaver; Grant and Ansley Rajanala; and Leigha and Christian Floyd. Following his military service, he spent one year as a West Virginia State Trooper before earning a degree in Mining Engineering from West Virginia University. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Monumental Cemetery, 648 Monumental Road, Fairmont, WV 26559.
