ROCK HILL, S.C. – Two men are facing murder charges in Rock Hill after a felony robbery attempt left their accomplice dead. Police say an unnamed 18-year-old and 19-year-old Ka’darius Turner-Hansley attempted to rob a man on Springdale Road. The 18-year-old shot the victim, and the victim shot back in self-defense, killing the teen. Investigators later identified 23-year-old Christopher Thompson, Jr. as a co-conspirator in the plot. Both surviving suspects are charged with murder because their felony crime directly resulted in the accomplice’s death.
