Celtic still face the possibility of another approach for Alistair Johnston, despite talks over the right-back hitting a stumbling block. Mark Douglas, Northern Football Correspondent, has reported that David Moyes’ side aren’t completley out of the running for Johnston. He said (Press Reader):“Celtic’s Alistair John­ston emerged as a pri­or­ity last week but the move hit a stum­bling block over a dif­fer­ence in valu­ation of around £5m. “It is not totally dead but the club have had to keep other plates spin­ning in their bid to solve a long-stand­ing prob­lem.” Johnston has remained professional throughout the speculation, though there was an Everton scout at Rugby Park as Celtic put five past Killie.
