A Seville resident was arrested Sunday after a prolonged, armed standoff with law enforcement at his residence. 28-year-old Austin Mowery was charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill. The incident began with a wellness check call to 2170 Lake Juanita Road in Seville. An armed standoff began that lasted well into the early hours of Monday morning. Over six hours into the incident, the VSO says Mowery surrendered at 2:32 a.m.
