A friend told me he’d been in a parade, walking behind a float. My favorite part is walking along and passing out goodies – candy and tchotchkes – to good folks who came out to see a parade. I visited with folks along the parade route. On the parade route, I spoke to Sue, Bob, Nick, Hope, Bill and Chuck. The secret to a successful parade walk is to be ahead of anything that’s walking and isn’t afraid to poop on pavement in public.
