Police have arrested and charged a 27-year-old Killaloe resident following a child sexual exploitation investigation. Police say a search warrant was executed at a Killaloe residence on July 30, 2026, as part of the investigation. The accused faces numerous Criminal Code charges, including abduction, several counts of luring, sexual assault, sexual interference, invitation to sexual touching, extortion and offences involving the distribution, publication and possession of child sexual abuse material. The accused faces two counts each of extortion, sexual assault and possession of child sexual abuse material. (Richard Evans)
