Joseph “Joe” R. Tollefson, age 78, of Caledonia, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Joe was born on December 29, 1947, to Isaac and Florence Tollefson. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Army, including a deployment to Vietnam, from 1968 until receiving an honorable discharge in 1970. He also proudly served the Caledonia Fire Department for 21 years and remained a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. ​He was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Florence Tollefson, his sister Shirley Morey, his brother Odin Tollefson, and his parents-in-law Carroll and Frances Johnson.
