While folks can still file to run for Corvallis City Council or Mayor – candidate forums are already starting. Indivisible Benton County and Our Revolution-Corvallis Allies have set an event for Wednesday, August 12 from 6 to 8:30 pm at the Corvallis-Benton County Library. “This is a great opportunity for voters to get to know our local candidates,” said one of the event organizers Karen Shell. “ORCA is excited to co-host this event with Indivisible Benton County. They also said they support progressive groups in our area and seek to elect progressive candidates to local and state offices.
