Verity is a psychological thriller based on the Colleen Hoover (It Ends with Us) novel of the same name. Johnson plays Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer who agrees to finish the work of Verity Crawford (Hathaway), a renowned author who was rendered unable to speak or move in an accident, unbeknownst to her fans.
