Cambridge exams draw record Pakistan participation as STEM, business subjects lead

ISLAMABAD: From classrooms across Pakistan to universities worldwide, more than 100,000 candidates received Cambridge International examination results for the June 2026 series, with thousands of students celebrating the outcome of their work.
The results, released by Cambridge International, represent students from over 850 schools in Pakistan, reflecting increased participation by Pakistani learners in globally recognized qualifications.
Candidates took Cambridge International AS & A Level, O Level and IGCSE exams, with subjects ranging from science and mathematics to business and technology.
Globally, nearly 368,000 students received AS & A Level results, while Cambridge IGCSE and O Level results for more than 315,000 candidates worldwide are scheduled for release Aug. 18.
Cambridge International Country Director for Pakistan Uzma Yousuf also praised students for their determination and acknowledged challenges many faced during exam preparation.
