Changes to Medicaid are Coming to Medicaid

If you receive Medicaid benefits, there are important changes you need to know about.
Starting Jan. 1, 2027, some enrollees will need to meet new work, education or community service requirements to keep their coverage.
They will also have to reapply for Medicaid every six months, instead of once a year.
While some Medicaid enrollees may be exempt from work requirements, it’s important to be aware of these changes and how they might affect you.
