Disney is now testing an AI-powered tool for Disney+ that uses natural language search, voice queries or a suggested prompt to create a row of show and movie recommendations just for you.
While Disney+ can already recommend shows based on your viewing history, the company is trying to better recommend content for that moment.
“The AI-powered tool is designed to help viewers move from “I don’t know what to watch” to relevant recommendations based on their immediate context and viewing needs,” reads the press release.
Disney is also introducing an AI-assisted search experience that’s conversational through the ESPN Search.
The app let’s fans ask sports questions with natural language and get answers about related content, stats and recommendations from the ESPN library of info.
