Summit Radio’s Afternoons with Andrea is pleased to welcome environmental writer Anna Dulisse to discuss her findings on the recovery of plant life and wildlife BC Interior forests that have been recently burnt. Anna explains how forested areas that have recently burned are actually teeming with life. It’s everywhere: from mushrooms and small plant life to insects, birds and mammals. Anna’s findings conclude that, in most cases, fire provides “pyro diversity” to a forest. However, it remains essential to protect communities against wildfires.
