Richard Matthew Wight, 77, passed away on August 10, 2026, in Athens, Greece. Richard was born in Enid on January 1, 1949, to Dr. Avery and Teresa Wight. Richard attended St. Joseph's and Memorial High School in Enid, graduating in 1966. Richard attended the local college, Phillips University, and was the school mascot one year: the PU Skunk. He finally moved to Portland and finished out his last year of college at the University of Portland, graduating in 1977.
