The Narrogin and Districts Netball Association celebrated its Indigenous players last month, playing the Boorloo NAIDOC Netball Carnival in Perth and the association’s Indigenous round in honour of NAIDOC Week. The annual Boorloo NAIDOC Carnival brought together Indigenous teams from across WA to play during NAIDOC Week. NDNA sent three teams, competing in the Net Set Go, under-20s and open division two competitions on July 8. The Net Set Go team enjoyed an outstanding carnival, finishing as runners-up, while the under-20s team secured a well-earned third place against strong opposition. The strong performances at the carnival carried through to the NDNA Indigenous round, held at the Narrogin Regional Leisure Centre on July 25.
