Judge confirms Sept. 8 jury selection in Luigi Mangione trial amid intense media interestNEW YORK -- Judge Gregory Carro adjourned the conference after about 20 minutes without publicly providing more details about the process for selecting jurors. Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo said his team would confer with prosecutors this week to iron out the questionnaire for jury selection. The jury will remain anonymous, and Judge Carro reiterated that potential jurors will begin arriving on Sept. 8 to begin the voir dire process. However, Carro acknowledged there will be limited room in the courtroom for the public because of the massive interest in the trial. He noted that more than 80 media organizations have signaled plans to cover the trial.
