The Kelowna International Airport says flights will be back to normal after smoke conditions impacted flights over the weekend. Officials at the airport say about 16 flights had to be cancelled over the weekend as smoke from several wildfires across the province impacted visibility. Flights returned to normal Sunday afternoon and are expected to operate consistently today. Passengers are still being urged to check their flight status, said YLW senior manager of operations and sustainability James Hall. “The wildfire situation and its impacts remain very fluid with flight status potentially changing at a moment’s notice.
