CANADA: The Pape North Connect joint venture has signed the Pape Tunnel & Underground Stations construction contract for Toronto’s Ontario Line with project promoters Metrolinx and Infrastructure Ontario. Pape North Connect includes Webuild, FCC Canada, Arcadis and Aecom. This signing of the contract for the delivery phase was announced on August 5. It follows the completion of the development and advanced design phase under a Development & Master Construction Agreement contract awarded in 2024. Webuild said the PTUS package represents one of the most technically challenging sections of the entire project.
