The loved ones of the personnel cited mental health issues, food shortages, dirty drinking water, clogged toilets, undelivered mail and an unending deployment as a major cause of concern. There were arguments between family members and Senior Officials in another virtual meeting, a U.S media outlet said, after getting the meeting clips and videos from one of the family members of the Marines. USS Lincoln has remained in West Asia for 259 days as of Friday after it left San Diego on November 21, 2025. Senior U.S Navy officials said that mental health support includes deployment-resilient counsellors, chaplains and Human Factors Councils which can identify risks affecting the well-being of crew members.
