A 28-year-old rural Salem man was flown for medical treatment after an ATV crash early Monday morning in Henry County. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office says Kyle Shinkle was found injured in a ditch near Lexington Avenue and 335th Street. Deputies responded to a 911 call around 7:45 a.m. and determined Shinkle had been traveling north on Lexington Avenue when he lost control of the ATV and entered the north ditch. Henry County Ambulance and Salem Fire and Rescue also responded. The crash remains under investigation.
