One Hamptons home is trying again for a record sale. The asking price this time around is $162 million, which would be a record for the East End. It was initially asking $120 million, making it the most expensive listing in the Hamptons at the time. Lee and Tenenbaum rebuilt the home twice, including after a fire in 2013 caused by a basement light fixture. There are a number of homeowners in the Hamptons eyeing a new successor to the market’s current home sale record of $147 million.
